I know how to crochet: I just prefer to knit. This is a prime example. You change what's going on nearly every round - so have to be near your pattern. Cat tower

 My cat had started clawing doorframes - over several doors. Ben suggested I get him a cat tower. We researched. Meanwhile, I patched the scratches, and I intend to get around to painting them. I read online that cats hate the smell of Vicks Vaporub. So I smeared the door frames with it, and it works! Meanwhile, Jerry ordered me one of the towers I had looked at. I received it and set it up Sat Sept 23 The supplied items included 16 bolts about an inch and a half, and ONE single bolt about 3/8 of an inch shorter. I proceeded to install that one bolt on the wrong place, remove several bolts to find the one, and then do it all over AGAIN! But eventually, I got it (The instructions were fine, detailed, with pictures - totally operator error.) I sprinkled it with catnip. Yesterday, for the first time EVER, my cat came to me when I called him. He sniffed the tower, rubbed his cheek on it. I picked him up and put him on it, and he immediately jumped down.
